The magic of gratitude and manifesting great things

That was going to be the topic of conversation for my blog this week. The magic of gratitude and manifesting great things. Instead, I’m sitting here, thinking about the weird dreams that keep haunting my sleeping hours. In these dreams, I’m always trying to solve an unusual problem, with people from my past.

This year I wanted to explore options for reconnecting with people from my past. Which could be dangerous. I know that some people are only in our lives for part of our journey, not the whole nine yards.

I wonder if my dreams are an omen of sorts. I like the idea of cups of coffee and cakes with friends, but maybe I’m too much of a loner. Morning teas with cousins, best friends, and other loved one are a thing of the past, but could they also be part of my future?

This is where magic and gratitude comes in.

I am grateful for all the interactions with amazing people I’ve met along my journey. At the time, it was just mugs of coffee and talking about life. Now I’ve memories to last a lifetime. Time with my children was precious. Too short.

Memories are great, and I’m keen to create new ones. Especially with my children.

Magic will be needed to create the future of my dreams. Not those dreams that border on nightmares, but the daydreams of my waking hours. Where I am reunited with loved ones. Making memories that count.

While I am waiting for my future, I can focus on the present. I write the words, weaving stories about everyday women and their experiences. Everyday life filled with mystery and magic.

Keeping the focus on the positive, the magic, gratitude, setting intentions. I love the stories I am writing. How I explore the relationships between others, and how they solve the mysteries they are faced with. Magic is everywhere.
