Scary season, silly season, Christmas, end of year, new year – with all the celebrations coming up I find myself in reflection mode. Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been planning for a local author talk. I decided to use the talk, and other questions and pop up a few author interview questions in series of videos on you-tube.

I thought I’d share my latest author bio, below.

Sarah Lewin was born in Tumut, a small country town in New South Wales, Australia, and now makes her home in outback Queensland. A mother and teacher, she has always loved reading and writing about the world around her, using words to spark children’s imagination and curiosity.

In recent years, Sarah has rediscovered her fascination with magic, fairies, and witches—an enchantment that has found its way into her stories. She published her first children’s book, My Grandma, in 2023, along with her debut witchy novel, Crone Wisdom.

Since then, her creativity has flourished. Sarah has published several books across four series and a couple of standalones, with more planned for the future.

Her fledgling writing career has been highlighted by having some of her stories selected for inclusion in anthologies and she was honoured to win a few competitions that further sparked her creativity. With every story, Sarah continues to weave together curiosity, wonder, and a touch of magic.

What do you think? Do you have any questions that you’d like me to answer in my next video, or my next blog?
