Happy Sunday everyone!
How do you spend your Sunday? Do you frantically run around cleaning, vacuuming, cooking, and getting planned and preparation for the week ahead? Maybe it’s a day of relaxing with friends or family, or maybe engaging in some sporty, outdoors activity.
I had great plans for my one day off, but my body decided I needed to rest. Gardening and house cleaning can wait until later. I am slowly learning that not everything has to be done all at once.
I write about strong women who learn they have witchy powers. Exploring the idea of magic and witchcraft in our every day lives is fascinating to me. What do you think – is magic make believe, or real?
I think witches are real, magic is real, it’s all about energy and the elements. Think about it. We all know people who are intuitive, who can heal others, those who make others feel better, who grow herbs and plants they use in healing concoctions. There are many examples in the every day, we just have to pay attention.
Empaths are people who pick up on the mental, physical and spiritual well being of others. If you feel sick, tired, grumpy, sad etc and you don’t know why, chances are you are picking up on how someone else is feeling. I’ve studied this a little, as I am one of those empaths. I think a lot of us are, and we don’t always realise it, not initially.
This might sound a little witchy, but we can visualise a protective cloak wrapped around us, to protect us from letting unwanted energy or health issues find their way to us. Being aware of how the energy around us, can affect us, helps us take control of and manage the many moods, and feelings that get thrown at us on a daily basis.
I love exploring these concepts – through Luna the old crone who is coming to terms with the loss in her life; Stella who learns she has powers and can use them to save the world from an evil; Beth who slowly learns to embrace her magical abilities; and Jane…her story will unfold soon…but let’s just say she hasn’t had a positive experience with her powers, until now.
