Today I’m trying to work out titles for my next few books, so I can order their covers. Maybe it’s because I’ve worked nearly ten hours each day for the last three days, but I feel like all my titles are rubbish. I’d run some of my ideas past you, but I don’t think they’re ready for human consumption yet. I’m definitely overthinking it.
Do you choose a book by its title, or its cover? Are you keen on new to you authors, or do you stick with the same authors, similar genres? I confess I used to stick with authors and genres I was comfortable with – now I’m a little bolder – heck I’ve even read a couple of light rom coms.
I swear I’m trying to focus on one thing, but I keep getting distracted – so many stories I want to write. Today my aim is the titles. So instead, I’m writing my weekly blog and my newsletter – on a totally opposite theme to my original plan.
Mayhem, magic, mystery, secrets – in the ordinary, slightly quirky, world we live in. Grab a cuppa, a good books and escape into another world.
