It’s a new year. The perfect time to rethink what I do, what my goals are, what I want to write about each week. I started this blog to share what I know about aromatherapy, naturopathy, health and wellness. Then it morphed into a place to share witchy tips, using plants, candles, crystals etc for magic spells. I’ve shared simple rituals for moon phases and witch festivities. I loved that part of who I am, and sharing what I know – it’s the mother and teacher in me.
Halfway through last year, hubby and I moved from a three acre farm to a small house block, where I’m creating a garden from scratch. The move changed a lot of things for us, most of it for the better. My writing is taking more of my time, or maybe it’s that I have more time to write.
I’ve been thinking about how to arrange my social media, so that in 2025 it will be focusing on my writing, rather than lots of different components. I’m still the eclectic hippy witch, that will show through in my writing.
As I’ve been reflecting and reviewing how I do things, it’s not just about social media. Each year I choose a word to use as a focus. In previous years I’ve used connection, clarity, focus, last years word was alignment. This year I’ve decided on the word – dynamic – meaning a positive attitude full of energy and new ideas, change and progress.
So, what does it mean for my word press? My ‘old fashioned blog.’ I’ve decided that for now, the blog will continue. It will be an opportunity to share some of my writing with you. So stay tuned, as I develop the blog to align more with my writing. A dynamic work in progress.
