Words are spells, whether we yell at someone, mutter healing, terms of endearments, or tell ourselves how amazing or rotten we are. Each instance is an example of a spell. In crude raw form, but there it is.
Naïve, not wise in the ways of the world, I wove spells with words I wish I could take back. I can’t. That’s just how it is. Now I’m careful not to say out loud things which may cause harm to others. I don’t always succeed in keeping quiet, but I’m much more aware of the consequences of what I say.
The words that spin around in my head I’m not so careful with. Sometimes I tell myself that I can’t, instead of I can. Worry comes naturally, or rather always expecting the worst does, unless I catch my thoughts, words and actions. I’m being harsh on myself and I know that, I’m illustrating a point.
Intention – a deliberate act – making sure my body, my mind and my spirit aligns with my actions and my thoughts is powerful. It’s a skill they should teach in schools.
Write down words and re-read them. Positive, self-affirmations. Write the details of your world as you would love it to be. Read aloud and often. Start the affirmations with I can…I will…I am…I deserve…
I deserve health, happiness, love, prosperity and abundance.
Remember, Words are Spells, use them wisely.
