Welcome to the brand new year, 2024. I wonder what exciting and amazing adventures will come my way this year. I can’t wait to discover all the wonderful opportunities that await me.

I have just finished writing the sequel to my first novel. It is with the editor. I am crossing my fingers and toes that the bones are good.

I am super excited that my second children’s book is ready to upload for publication. Children’s Books With a Message, my series of books; it is so cool that they will be released this year.

This writing journey of mine is interesting. It is a little like spending time in my garden, Moving plants around. Watering and weeding. Adding new plants, looking at the bigger picture.

With any creative activity, there is a sense of accomplishment when we get it right. It can take time and effort, and concentration. We may have to start from scratch, rethinking those parts that aren’t working properly. We can give up, we can choose to give it another chance.

There are tools we can use for clarity and focus. I know this will sound witchy woo, but mantras and affirmations, incense, essential oils, candles, crystals, even tarot cards. It is all about listening to our intuition. Believing in ourselves is a great place to start.

This is the one thing I have tended to struggle with for most of my life. This year, 2024 will be the year I finally believe in me! Happy New Year everyone!
