Health Tip #28
Stress – we don’t like to admit when we are stressed or overwhelmed. When we feel out of control, many of us act tough, telling others and ourselves that nothing is wrong. Let’s listen to our bodies early warning system. If we are getting headaches, stomach aches, or just generally feeling run down and exhausted it is likely our body telling us to rest and care for ourselves.
Thankfully, we have come a long way from when we were ridiculed for suggesting stress could cause illnesses. The effects and impacts of stress is now recognised and understood by many in the community.

Listen to our intuition
Learn to let go of the things we can’t change
Start and end each day with a smile and a gratitude
Meditate and day dream
Be creative
Exercise and rest
Make healthy food and drink choices
Small steps can make a huge positive difference in our lives.
