Have you ever thought of adding herbs such as peppermint, sage, lavender, rosemary, parsley, basil, fennel, ginger, or even turmeric to your fresh squeezed juices and smoothies? A small amount of any of these herbs will give a big flavour boost, as well as added health benefits.

Or add a handful of cereal or crushed nuts, yoghurt, honey or protein powder, to a smoothie with packed with berries a banana and some mangoes.  A great mid morning or mid afternoon snack option.

One of the best tips for keeping healthy and well over the winter months is to keep a variety of fresh foods in our diet, adding garlic, ginger, turmeric and even chilli in our meals.
