I have been listening to people this week, stressed and frustrated, agitated and angry at so many things they can’t control.

The weather will be good, or bad, depending on what we are wearing and what we want to do.

The cost of living is going up, which impacts us in so many ways. We sometimes resent having to change what we do or buy, because of rising costs.

People can be disappointing. Most of the time the behaviour of others is outside of our control. What we can control is us – how we think, feel, speak and react to what is happening around us.

So let’s take some time to think about what is in our control.

  • What we eat and drink
  • When we rest, sleep and exercise
  • How we speak and act
  • How we are in relationships with others

Did you know? Simple steps – healthy choices

  • A tablespoon of manuka honey in the morning, with a drop of copaiba essential oil – health benefits for body and brain. Substitute Frankincense or OnGuard essential oils – all help support physical and emotions parts of our body
  • A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water in the morning
  • A squirt of lemon in a glass of water in the morning

These practices daily and we will start to see improved physical health and emotional health.

For more concentrated boost to our overall health add these to our daily intake

  • Elderberry juice
  • Turmeric – in meals, smoothies
  • Garlic
  • Leafy greens
  • Fermented foods

Yes, changing the way we eat and drink, how, when, how much and what we eat can help clear out the negative emotions, and challenges.

If you want some more ideas, or more details about how these foods help with body mind and emotions, let me know and we can chat.
