- Set boundaries with people close to us, talk about what it is like in crowds and high emotional energy
- Journaling or drawing or painting – a creative outlet
- Mindfulness practice, mantras, meditation
- Visualisation
- Get outside in nature
- Movement and exercise
- Plan ahead, especially if you have to go out or to a crowded and or emotional venue
- A talisman such as a crystal, button, stone, or similar
- Essential oils and bath or shower to wash away and release
- Eating well, fresh foods and drinking water
- Rest and relaxation
