Immunity Tips

Immunity protocols at this time of year: the change of seasons from summer to autumn, the cooler weather, rain and wind. Can all have a negative effect, so boosting our immune system is vital. It is so important to keep up our protocols for health and wellness. Everything in moderation and an awareness of what we are fuelling our bodies with.

FLOOM IMMUNITY ROLLER BLEND

In a 10ml roller bottle, 10 drops of each of Frankincense, Lemon, OnGuard, Oregano, Melaleuca (Tea Tree), top with Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO).

Apply to back, neck, chest, bottom of feet and wrists morning, noon and night.

Immune Roller Blend for children 3 -5 drops of each oil.

If you don’t have time, or don’t want to be making your own roller blends, I totally get it. It doesn’t matter how easy I make it if it just isn’t something you want to spend time doing, you wont. Which is fair enough and luckily for you, I make these and all sorts of roller blends, potions and lotions, made to order just for you.

So tell me what you want and I will make it for you, I have some Immune Rollers already made, selling for $20 plus postage. Also rollers for respiratory, stomach, calming, sleep, muscle aches, focus, whatever you need support for. Just send me a message and I can help. It really is that easy.

Sliced apples, carrots and celery, berries or other fruit as desired, soaked in a bowl of water with a few drops of On Guard.

FLOOM Diffuser Blend – 3 drops each of Frankincense, Lemon, OnGuard, Oregano, and Tea Tree

When cleaning benchtops, toys etc use OnGuard cleaner, and add oils such as Clove, Lemongraa and Lemon, and On Guard.

Immunity – Eating tips

Fruit and veg – an easy way to ensure we get at least 5 servings a day is to start the day with a fresh squeezed juice – at the least we tend to have apple, orange, celery, carrot and beetroot, although we do mix it up with whatever fruit and veg we have around or that is at the local shops.

A wrap or salad with fresh vegetables, a handful of nuts, and berries.

Rinse fruit and veg in water with a few drops of OnGuard or Lemon essential oil.

Manuka Honey (Activated), Ginger, Garlic, Turmeric, in foods (or drinks) are also foods that help boost our immunity.

Pineapple juice, cranberry juice, both high in vitamin C.

Immunity and Cleaning

I am so thankful for our OnGuard range of cleaning products from Doterra. I know there are other products out there – low tox cleaning, and I do like the Tea Tree based products and the Eucalyptus based products too and use these at home too as well. If you have a particular low tox brand of cleaning products you are happy with please share.

Using On Guard essential oil for immunity

  • diffusing in the diffuser
    • adding a couple of drops to our cloth when wiping things
    • adding to our cleaner (vinegar, water, onguard cleaner)
    • soaking fruit and veg in water and on guard

We also use

  • OnGuard Hand Wash
  • OnGuard Cleaning Concentrate
  • Toothpaste, Throat Drops, Laundry Detergent and Hand Sanitiser

For me the key is to find a low tox cleaning and immunity mix that works, and in this case smells awesome too, and one that is easy to use.

Immunity – Easy Air

I feel I neglected to mention another essential oil that gets a work out at the change of season, and is an awesome support for respiratory, seasonal threats, and so part of our immunity tool kit.

Easy Air – we diffuse this at night as it clears and keeps our respiratory system unblocked, much better to use than vicks and other similar products.

Roller blend on bottom of feet and chest when feeling like a cold is coming on, or hay fever and other seasonal allergies.
