Then we have our emotional roller range – Cheer, Console, Forgive, Motivate, Passion and Peace – apply any of these on pulse points – neck, wrists, feet, chest – anywhere as needed to soothe, ease, boost emotions, moods etc.

Essential Education #7 – Using Internally

Therapeutic grade essential oils – some are safe to be ingested, in very small quantities. Not everyone agrees with using oils this way, it is totally up to each of us whether we are comfortable in doing so.

Dotrerra have created supplements – Life Long Vitality, DDR Prime and Copaiba softgels, are three that are available in Australia. The Australian Therapeutic Goods Association are likely reviewing some of the other supplements that are available in the US, and may allow them to be sold here. I think most of the Doterra supplements in the US, we can but direct from the US warehouse anyway. There are some that I think are valuable, but that’s a story for another time.

LLV supplements are our general all purpose multivitamin range for all around good health – physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

DDR Prime is a brilliant supplement to boost our health and wellbeing, our immunity and to fight any disease lurking in our system.

Copaiba is the go to for aches and pains and also to balance and calms moods and ease an over active brain.

We can also create our own softgels, or veggie caps – using a drop or two of some of our oils. We can support a range of challenges, such as immunity.

Our cooking can be enhanced using our therapeutic essential oils, make sure you only use a drop (or two) and only use those that can be taken internally (check the label). Suggestions include:

# Oregano, Basil, Rosemary, Fennel etc pretty much when you would use the dried or fresh herb

# Lemon, Lemongrass, Lime, Wild Orange in salad dressings, dips, or similar (I am not a foodie, Doterra has many recipes on their blog)

# Peppermint, Wild Orange, Lavender, Lemon, etc in muffins, cakes, chocolate

# we can add a drop or two to our water, juice, smoothies, tea or coffee too.

This link explains this better than I can, check it out for some useful info and ideas:

Essential Education #9 – Berries as antioxidants

Berries really are versatile. We can add them to our cereal, to yoghurt or to dessert. They are brilliant in a smoothie or as a snack by themselves or with a handful of nuts. They taste good and are good for us.

#high in antioxidants

#high in fibre

#protect against free radicals

#may improve blood sugar levels

#high in many vitamins and minerals

#help fight inflammation

#may lower cholesterol

#good for skin and heart health

My favourite berries include blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and cranberries. Which ones are your favourites?

Essential Education #10 – Leafy greens

Leafy greens, packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre but low in calories and have numerous health benefits, similar to those I listed yesterday for berries.

Examples of leafy greens we use in juice, smoothies, salads:

Kale, Micro Greens, Spinach, Beet Greens, Water Cress, Rocket, Lettice, Chicory and other salad greens.

Freebie Offer – same as last week, if you book in an initial consultation ($45.00) I will make you a bespoke roller blend (normally $25.00 ) for free.
